Queer climbers on Vancouver Island

We cultivate opportunities and space for the LGBTQ2+ community to participate in climbing activities in a non-judgemental, respectful and welcoming environment while supporting educational programs and opportunities.

Land Acknowledgement

At GOATS, we want to acknowledge that we live, play, and climb on the traditional territories of the Coast Salish, Kwakwakiwak, and Nuu-cha-nulth Peoples. Climbing is a sport tied intimately with the land, and we give thanks to give thanks to the hereditary leaders, matriarchs, land defenders and Two-Spirit individuals that protect these territories.

Upcoming Events

Monthly Meet-ups

Join us the last Wednesday of every month from 7-9! Meet-ups rotate across Crag-X, Boulder House, and The Boulders climbing gyms. When you arrive, look for GOATS folks in a green t-shirt.

Pride & Special Events

GOATS has partnered with the climbing wall at the Victoria Pride Festival for the past 2 years and run events like Dynos and Drag and DragX. What's coming next? We'll see!
